Known for his slew of country hits like It's Your Love, Just to See You Smile, Live Like You Were Dying, and more, Tim McGraw is a three-time Grammy-winning singer. Also an actor, record producer, and songwriter, McGraw has had a successful three-decade-long and counting stint in the industry.   

Born on May 1, 1967, in Start, Louisiana, to former MLB pitcher Tug McGraw, and his one-time fling, Betty D'Agostino. It was only when Tim turned 17 that his famous father acknowledged him and mended their strained relationship. Besides his thriving career and his relationship with his father, Tim is notably known for having one of the most successful marriages.

McGraw and his wife of twenty-six years, Faith Hill, a fellow country singer, are undoubtedly a powerhouse couple. One doesn't need to look far to gain an insight into the duo's long-standing marriage and the very factor that keeps them going. For the McGraw couple, it is their shared love for music that keeps their boat running after all these years.    

Tim's wife, Faith Hill, 55, is considered one of the most successful country artists. With five Grammys and several esteemed accolades under her belt, Hill is nothing less than a mega-star. She was married to Daniel Hill from 1988 to 1994. Both McGraw and Faith were not in a favorable place when they first crossed paths in 1994.  

While the Live Like You're Dying crooner was dating Kristine Donahue, Tim's now-wife, Hill, was in an unraveling marriage with Daniel. The duo kept a friendly bond for the next two years until McGraw's Spontaneous Combustion tour in 1996. Hill famously opened for Tim during his tour and it was there when the two realized their bustling chemistry.   

Faith, who was engaged to Scott Hendricks at the time, didn't waste any time grabbing McGraw's hands while he was single, and quickly called off her engagement to Scott. "If someone is going to judge my character because I was engaged to somebody and then I left him for somebody else. I can't control it," Hill said.  

On their 19th anniversary in 2015, McGraw shared a vivid detail of how he proposed to Faith on June 26, 1996. The Grammy winner recalls popping the question in their trailer house when they were still touring. "When I came back offstage, [I saw] a Sharpie with lipstick kisses all over it, saying, 'Yes! I'm gonna be your wife,'" Tim recounts sweetly.  

The country couple tied the knot on October 6, 1996- again, in a very whirlwind fashion. McGraw and Hill welcomed their first kid in May 1997 and expanded their family to include two more kids in the years that followed. Being one of the top-selling country singers, it's a given that the spouses collaborated at some point in their illustrious career. 

Tim and Hill's first official collaboration came in July 2000 when they set off for their Soul2Soul Tour, which was concluded after months of cross-country tours in December. The successful tour was followed by another one in 2006. The couple continues to entertain their fans by joining forces every once in consecutive years.  

In their twenty-six years as a married couple, McGraw and Hill have shared their share of obstacles, and the ever-forthcoming couple has been candid about it. Though the duo's life looked impeccably smooth to the world, McGraw revealed he was battling noxious alcohol addiction behind closed doors.  

The Blind Side actor shared that at one point his addiction had gotten so bad that Hill gave him an ultimatum. In his book, Grit & Grace: Train the Mind, Train the Body, Own Your Life, the singer-turned-actor credits his wife for giving him the wake-up call.    

Faith was engaged to Scott Hendricks when she started dating Tim! 

The long-married couple celebrated one more milestone in their relationship when they made their screen debut in 2021 in the series 1883, a prequel to mega-hit Yellowstone. "To see my beautiful wife on horseback, firing guns, and having dirt all over her face, I just sit in awe," Tim lovingly said about his wife.  

Who are Tim McGraw and Faith Hill's Children?  

Tim and Faith's family was complete when they welcomed their youngest, daughter Audrey McGraw, in December 2001. The country crooners are proud girls' parents, with their eldest, Gracie, 27, leading the brood. The couple also share a 24-year-old Maggie McGraw.   

Tim and Hill have become empty nesters as their daughters are now out in the real world, making their own paths. The duo's oldest, Gracie, is an aspiring actress. Since graduating from New York University, Gracie has appeared in a couple of series, including Tyler Perry's If Loving You Is Wrong, and Be My Guest with Ina Garten.  

McGraw's second daughter, Maggie, isn't susceptible to her parents' stardom. Maggie lives her life fairly privately and as per her dad, she dreams of making the world a better place. Tim was above cloud nine when his middle-born graduated with a Master's degree from Stanford University in 2014.  

"We are so incredibly proud of our Maggie May," wrote the doting father. The long-married couple's youngest one, Audrey, is actively carving a career in show business. Apart from frequently showing her vocal talents on Instagram, Audrey is pursuing acting, and modeling.
