Congratulations are in order for Duhamel and his beloved wife Mari who recently gave birth to their firstborn, a boy. The All My Children alum also has a 10-year-old son with his ex-wife, Fergie. The over the moon couple couldn't be happier as they took to their respective Instagram and gave fans the first glimpse of their baby, and also unveiled his name.  

"Shepherd Lawrence Duhamel. 1/11/24," they wrote alongside a snippet of their newborn's feet. The joyful news comes almost four months after Duhamel and Audra announced their pregnancy in September. "Baby Duhamel coming soon," Mari had captioned an image of her ultrasound.  

According to some insiders, who chimed in to call the pair a meant-to-be couple, Duhamel and Audra might be open to adding more kids in their life. A source had said,"(They'll) have kids sooner than later."  

The Truth About Josh Duhamel's First Marriage!   

Duhamel boasts a high-profile dating history and his marriage with Fergie, which lasted eight years, is certainly the best known of all the relationships he's navigated so far. The Emmy-nominated actor met singer-actress Fergie in 2004 while the Black-Eyed Peas singer was shooting a cameo for Josh's show, Las Vegas.   

It was Duhamel who first approached Fergie while opened up to her about his long-kept crush on the singer. Despite their first meet-cute, which Josh admitted was more awkward than cute, the pair sparked a connection and started dating the same year.  

They got engaged on Christmas Day in 2007 and tied the knot, after two years of betrothal bliss, on January 10, 2009. Troubles knocked on the newly married couple's door early as an exotic dancer, named Nicole Forrester, accused Duhamel of extra-marital affairs.  

Duhamel and Fergie seemingly moved on from the scandal after a rep for Josh deemed the story a ruse and ridiculous. The duo welcomed their firstborn, Axl Jack, in August 2013, and put up an unproblematic, and happily married life until their sudden divorce news in 2017. 

"With absolute love and respect, we decided to separate as a couple earlier this year," the estranged couple's statement read. They added, "We are and will always be united in our support of each other and our family." Abiding by their words, Josh and Fergie have indeed shown immense support for one another. Fergie recently wished Josh and Mari all her love as her ex-husband became a second-time father. 

Did Josh Duhamel Date Eiza González?  

The answer is a short yes. The Transformer actor fell for actress Eiza González shortly after his separation from Fergie. The brief romantic stint, which lasted not more than five months, was probably nothing but a rebound thing on Duhamel's part, and yet it did take fans off the guard as they opined it was a rather hasty move, considering Josh had just split with his wife of eight years.  

A source echoed fans' concern and explained how Duhamel was himself torn. "Josh is head over heels for Eiza," said the insider, adding, "But he felt guilty that he had feelings for another woman so quickly and he wants to be respectful to Fergie, so he has kept this relationship very, very private."
