The duo sparked dating rumors earlier this month after Katie posted a snap of her kissing Huszar on the cheek, with the caption, "#princecharming."   

The insinuating post could have easily passed for a friendly tribute but not anymore. The Black Christmas actress has revealed it herself. Cassidy posted a selfie of the couple soaking up the sun on a romantic getaway alongside the caption, "Welp, cats out of the bag… Happy Monday."  

An insider later gave a detailed insight into the post and the pair's budding romance. "They're very much in love and just got back from a European trip in which they joined her family in Portugal," the insider explained before revealing that Katie and her new beau also bonded on trips to Spain, France, and Monaco.   

While Cassidy and Huszar explore their honeymoon phase romance, their reel love story is set to premiere in July. The film follows Katie's character, Ava, as she lands a job at Royal Ice Hotel, where she meets her prince charming, Henry, played by Huszar.  

Cassidy's new beau, Huszar, 39, is a Canadian actor. He is best known for his roles in Ruby Herring Mysteries, The Flash, The Jane Mysteries; Inheritance Lost, Time After Time, My One & Only, and Undercover Holiday.

The Melrose Place alum prefers her personal life out of the limelight. Cassidy's dating history, hence, doesn't reveal a string of ex-beaus. She was previously married to Matthew Rodgers. The pair were first linked in 2016.  

Cassidy and Matthew Rodgers got engaged after a brief dating bliss! 

 The Hallmark actress announced her engagement to Rodgers in June 2017. "I can’t wait to spend forever with you my darling!! I'm the luckiest girl in the whole world," an excited Katie captioned the post. The pair walked down the aisle in December 2018.  

"I can't help falling in love with you… YES! It's official. I love you, my husband," Cassidy wrote following their intimate wedding at Sunset Key in Florida. But their marital bliss lasted only a little more than a year, with the Black Christmas actress pulled the plug on their marriage after just thirteen months.   

The Gossip Girl alum filed for divorce from her then-husband in January 2020 and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason. The divorce filing ended up tarnishing the couple's image as it revealed that Katie and Rodgers had originally gotten hitched in December 2017, just a month after Cassidy's father, David, died of organ failure.   

The estranged couple finalized their divorce in 2021. Cassidy and Rodgers apparently waived their rights for spousal support. The documents revealed that the duo had entered a post-nuptial agreement a month before Katie filed for divorce.  

In her rare interview post-divorce, Cassidy shared how her split from Matthew hit her hard amid the lockdown. The Melrose Place actress also shared how she had been back in the dating pool and dating men. "I think if I'm supposed to meet someone, I'll meet them naturally, organically," Cassidy explained.

Aside from her ongoing romance with Huszar and her dissolved marriage with Rodgers, Cassidy dated executive producer Dana Brunetti, in 2015. The House of Cards producer was fresh out of his relationship with actress Kristin Chenoweth when he went official with Cassidy.
