Actress Nikki Reed has been married twice: She is a doting mother to two!  

Known for her roles in The Twilight Saga, Thirteen, Mini's First Time, Pawn, and Balls Out, Nikki Reed is an award-winning actress. Many might not be aware of it but Reed is also a budding business owner. The Twilight actress runs a sustainable and ethical jewelry brand called Bayou With Love, which turns recycled technology into jewelry.  

Born on May 17, 1988, in Los Angeles, California, Reed's creative pursuits also extends to writing and singing. In addition, she also designs for the vegan sneaker brand, Loci Wear. Nikki Reed is Married to Ian Somerhalder!   

Marrying in haste doesn't necessarily result in repenting in leisure. Just look at Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder, whose romance and the eventual nuptial is the classic example of a whirlwind relationship. The couple was first linked in mid-2014.   

And before fans could make sense of the Twilight alum and Vampire Diaries hunk's budding romance, the twosome quickly went red-carpet official at the 2014 Teen Choice Awards. Like going official within weeks of dating wasn't hasty enough, the duo even moved in together and adopted a horse named Eagle the same month.  

While keeping their relationship fairly private and off Hollywood's prying gaze, Reed and Somerhalder were seldom spotted making PDA-packed appearances. By the year's end, the actor couple had expanded their family to include two pups, Nietzsche and Enzo.  

Reed's now-husband, Somerhalder, 44,  who previously dated actress Nina Dobrev, made his intentions clear with Nikki from the get-go. "Thank you all for giving me so much strength-we're ready to kick major ass and make a great future starting now," the hunky actor wrote days before announcing his engagement with Reed, in January 2015. 

The swift engagement was followed by an equally hurried wedding. The Twilight actress and her then-beau walked down the aisle on April 26, 2015, at Topanga Canyon in Malibu, California. A few months after their dreamy wedding, Ian appeared happy as he spoke about his future with Reed.   

"It's a pretty crazy time and place to bring a child into this turbulent and insane world — but I really can't wait to do it," said The Vampire Diaries actor. And sure enough, the duo welcomed their firstborn, Bodhi Soleil, on July 25, 2017. Both Reed and Ian have since been regularly showing their appreciation and growing love for each other.    

Reed and Somerhalder have welcomed a son after the birth of their first daughter in 2017! 

The happy couple recently announced the birth of their secondborn, a boy, in an Instagram story. "A few weeks ago we welcomed our son on what can only be described as one of the most beautiful days of my life," Reed wrote as she further disclosed that her son was born "at home in the water and surrounded by so much love." The parents are yet to reveal their newborn's name.

Before finding her happy ever after with Somerhalder, Nikki was married to singer-songwriter, Paul McDonald, who rose to fame as the finalist of American Idol season 10. The Thirteen actress's eventual nuptial with the singer was also a whirlwind development. And the pair probably repented in leisure.   

Reed met the singer at the premiere of Red Riding Hood in March 2011. Things proceeded fast from there on as the duo confirmed their relationship, moved in together, and got engaged by June 2011. Reed and her American Idol alum beau walked down the aisle on October 16, 2011.  

Troubles knocked on the couple's paradise sooner than later. Sources alleged that it all came down to their stunted careers. "He wasn't making money and she wasn't flourishing with her career after Twilight," the source explained. An insider also reported that the duo's relationship went strained as they took each other for granted.   

Reed filed for divorce two years after their wedding in May 2014, although the two had been estranged for months before the filing. The couple was officially divorced in early 2015. The actress reportedly obtained three houses, three cars, and a dog, while McDonald got their house in Nashville, the divorce settlement.
