Actor Luke Perry died at 52 in 2019: He is survived by his two kids and ex-fiance, Wendy Madison Bauer!  

The world remembers Luke Perry on what would have been the actor's 57th birthday. Perry had cemented a huge fan following in the last years of his career, playing Fred Andrews on the CW series Riverdale. For his enduring Gen X fans, Perry was and will always be the charming Dylan McKay, a character he portrayed on Beverly Hills, 90120, from 1990 to 1995.   

Born on October 11, 1966, in Mansfield, Ohio, Perry's earliest credits include Another World and Loving. After shooting to fame as Dylan in the early '90s, Perry stuck to acting for decades, starring in notable flicks like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Fifth Element, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. The actor, who died on March 14, 2019, is survived by his two kids, and his ex-fiancee, Wendy Madison Bauer. 

Luke Perry was Engaged at the Time of His Death!  

Perry was a certified heartthrob and the ultimate celebrity crush of a legion. Many believed the actor was single and perhaps open to giving relationships a chance. But the actor's shocking death cleared the misunderstanding among fans. When the media limelight centered around Perry's career and his personal life, it was revealed that the Riverdale actor had been engaged for a while.   

Because Perry's extreme reticence was never construed as a sign of his private nature, fans thought the actor was a single father of two. Even when the news about his engagement with Bauer came to surface after his death, the information was anything but illuminating.  

Perry's untimely death by stroke was reported by his rep, who said, "(Perry) was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends."   

There's still very little known about Perry's relationship with Bauer, who, as per sources, is an LA-based licensed therapist. The late actor and Wendy could have crossed paths as actors for Bauer briefly dabbled in acting before changing her career path. Madison was reportedly an actively working actress from the year 2004 to 2011.   

When the world was hit by the Beverly Hills actor's death in 2019, Perry's bereaving fiancee kept mum for a while before eventually breaking her silence. The former actress shared that she and Perry had been together for 11 years. "The past 11 years with Luke were the happiest years of my life, and I am grateful to have had that time with him," Bauer said in her emotional statement.  

Luke Perry is Survived By His Two Kids!   

The beloved actor had a lot more to give to the world. Although his career was cut short, Perry cemented a stellar legacy that'll be continued by his two surviving kids, Jack Perry, and Sophie, who he welcomed during his first marriage with Rachel Minnie Sharp.   

The fact that Perry's ex-wife, Sharp, was alongside him during his last minutes on earth, is a clear indication that the estranged pair ended things on an amicable note. The Beverly Hills, 90120 actor was a rising star, and Sharp was an ardent fan of his.  

The pair's love story reportedly started when Sharp, a former furniture salesman, sent a piece of lingerie to a young Perry. The trick seemingly worked as the two started dating shortly after. The Riverdale actor and Rachel were together for two years before they walked down the aisle on November 20, 1993.    

Luke's kids, fiancee, and ex-wife were with him during his last moments! 

The couple welcomed their first kid, Jack Perry, 26, in June 1997. Better known by his ring name, Jungle Boy, Jack is a professional wrestler, currently signed to All Elite Wrestling. Jack's notable wrestling feats include the title of one-time FTW Champion and AEW World Tag Team Champion. Luke's daughter, Sophie 23, was born to the actor and Sharp in June 2000.   

Luke and Sharp reportedly shared joint custody of their two kids following their cordial split in 2003. "He was very protective of his family," an insider said following the actor's death. Perry's enormous fortune, which included the actor's $2 million home in the San Fernando Valley, and royalties from television shows, was passed to his two kids.
