Inside Tyler Christopher's Personal Life!
Throughout his career in the industry, the Days of Our Lives actor experienced several romances and got married two times. Christopher's first wife, actress Eva Longoria, is yet to comment on the profound news. Although the pair were married for a brief period, it certainly shaped the duo's views on their future relationships.
Christopher and Longoria kept their relationship private from the start to the end. As per the ever-vocal Longoria, the duo dated on and off for a few months before eloping to Las Vegas in 2002, with a few friends, including Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle in attendance. The duo's hasty marriage unraveled within a span of two years and the pair finalized their divorce in 2004.
The reason behind the pair's split was revealed years later. "He was a lovely man, but I was very young," Longoria confessed before sharing how their stubbornness and habits got in the way. "I was a terrible wife," said Eva. Following his divorce from the Desperate Housewives actress, Christopher went on to date his then-co-star, Vanessa Marcil.
Tyler and Marcil even got engaged at a point before eventually calling off the betrothal. "Ugh, another loss! Way too young. Rest in peace bubs," Marcil wrote upon hearing the saddening news. Tyler was a private man when it came to his romantic life and it became very clear when he surprised fans with the news of his engagement with Brienne Pedigo, an auto racing pit reporter, in 2006.
The couple walked down the aisle on September 27, 2008, and welcomed a son, Greysun James, after a year, in 2009. The twosome became parents for the second time in 2015 as Pedigo gave birth to their daughter, Boheme. The late star often reflected on his fatherhood journey and how it changed him as a person.
Christopher and Pedigo's marriage spanned almost a decade but sadly, didn't make it to the decade milestone. The sports journalist filed for divorce in February 2019. The estranged pair's separation didn't involve any drama nor did their divorce, which was finalized in 2021.
