Alexis Danson is widely known as the adopted daughter of famous American actor and producer, Ted Danson and his second wife, Casey Coates. Well, Ted came to limelight after playing the lead role of Sam Malone on the NBC sitcom Cheers. 

Further, Danson is also known for his characters in films Three Men and a Baby (1987) and Three Men and a Little Lady (1990). In the films, Tom Selleck, and Steve Guttenberg, reprise the main roles.

Aged 73, Ted Danson has been in a relationship with several TV personalities. Before marrying Casey, Ted was married to his college sweetheart and actress, Randy Danson. The couple tied their knot in the 1970s. 

However, this relationship ended in 1975 for some undisclosed reasons. The couple did not have any children. After the divorce, he married Casey.  After their divorce, Ted met his third wife, Mary Steenburgen on the set of the movie “Pontiac Moon in 1993.

Two years later, they exchanged the wedding on October 7, 1995.

As of now, the couple is living a happy and blissful life for 25 years in California. Moreover, Mary shares two kids named Charlie McDowell, 37 and Lilly McDowell, 39, from her first marriage with Malcolm McDowell (m. 1980–1990).
