Andrea and Brett's matrimony saw all the things the billionaire wedding sees. In the beautiful hilltop church in Miltown Malbay, Corr grabbed everyone's attention in her strapless white gown, tied with a ribbon around the waist.
Brett, on the other hand, arrived at the venue in his dashing black suit with a purple tie and an expensive watch on his left hand. While the bride and the groom looked distinct in their attire, the guests, however, arrived in their blacked-out window car by wearing a black-tie.
On the auspicious day of August 21, 2009, the bride and the groom kissed each other in front of their loved ones after being pronounced husband and wife.
The High Profile Guests List
To give their blessings, nearly 400 guests arrived at the venue. The nuptial ceremony was quite lavish, but it looked cheap in front of the grand reception. The lovely couple booked the Doonbeg golf resort, which accommodated all the guests in which many high profile names are involved.
Comedian Patrick Kielty, Football manager Gordon Strachan, and golfer Padraig Harrington are some big names to attend the matrimony. To top all the guest list, U2 frontman Bono made a grand entry alongside his late wife Ali Hewson in a black Maserati.
Before the Grand Wedding!
Before the world witnessed the grand marriage of the Billionaire stockbroker and The Corrs frontwoman, the couple took their time to decide on living together forever.
The pair first met each other in 2007, two years before the wedding. Neither Andrea nor Brett disclosed any details regarding their dating life. Even though we do not know how the couple met each other, we can surely tell the relationship blossomed well in two years.
In the Christmas of 2008, Brett took Andrea to his father's hotel in Barbados for the celebration. During their stay at the hotel, Desmond took out a $77,910 diamond ring and popped the big question.
Just by the price of an engagement ring, we can assume the scale of expense at the couple's wedding ceremony.
The Miscarriage Nightmare of Andrea!
In a recent interview at the Late Late Show, Corr remembered her experience of her miscarriages. Yes, miscarriages as there is more than one; in fact, she suffered from five miscarriages during her decade long marital life.
As of now, Andrea and her husband Bret lives in London with their two children. So, Corr did experience good times with her children after initial nightmares. Corr has not provided any details on her children as of now.
