Amid the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Big Bang Theory Star, Melissa Rauch gives birth to a child. The actress welcomed her son Brooks Rauch on Monday. She gave birth without her husband Winston Rauch by her side.
After announcing the birth of her son, Rauch, furthermore, thanked the front line workers of doctors and nurses. In her Instagram post, the actress gave credit to the front line heroes for the arrival of her baby. She wrote,
"His arrival was made possible, in no small part, by the front line heroes- the nurses and doctors who show up each day to make sure that life keeps marching forward, regardless of the circumstances".
The actress continued by describing her gratefulness for her newborn son to join the family. Melissa, moreover, gave some thoughts on her expectant mothers or who she called 'Pandemamamas' in the magazine Glamour.
For the lovely married couple, Brooks is the second child as they are already parents of two-year-old Sadie Rauch. The duo walked down the aisle in 2007 and after nearly a decade, they became parents to Sadie. Melissa also suffered from miscarriage before the birth of her first child.
Unlike during the birth of Sadie, the actress had to be in the delivery room without her spouse this time. Due to COVID-19, Winston stayed back with their daughter and other family members were also unable to come to the hospital. Rauch walked herself into the hospital with all the precautions and missed her better half at the important time.
In her note shared with all the expectant mothers, she wrote about craving the comfort of her husband during the labor. Even though Winston was at the home with Sadie, the medical personnel made it possible to Mr. Rauch to make an appearance. Via FaceTime, Winston was able to witness the surreal moment of his wife giving birth to their son.
Her message to the Pandemamamas concluded with,
"Just as I reminded myself, you can do this, you will do this, and you will do so with the fierceness of all the powerful warrior women before you who have brought life and hope into this world during the most unfathomable of times. As I look into my son's eyes, I am filled with that hope."
No complication occurred to the baby and the mom as the medical professionals amped up their cleanliness routine and safety precaution. Not just the hit TV Show actress, Cory Wharton, and his girlfriend and CNN Anderson Cooper also became parents recently.
