Brennan Clost, a Candian actor/dancer is known for his roles as Daniel on the Family series, The Next Step, and Shane McRae in the Netflix series, Tiny Pretty Things. In 2011, he was named as one of the Top Senior Male Dancers at The Dance Awards in New York City. Further, he has worked in movies like King of the Camp and Country Crush.

Brennan was born on October 20, 1994, in Burlington, Ontario, Canada. His father, Scott Clost worked as field service for GE Healthcare, while his mother, Robin Clost worked as an elementary teacher. Further, Brennan has a brother named, Trevor.

As per one interview, Brennan dated a guy while he was at Juilliard School. When asked about his sexuality, Clost added: "So now I’m in a place of, I just don’t label it. I think I could fall in love with anybody, and I never had that confidence before, when I was younger."

Likewise, Brennan was excited to play an openly gay dancer in Tiny Pretty Things as the character resonated with him.

Clost studied at various dance studios across southern Ontario, including the National Ballet School of Canada and Springboard Danse Montreal. Clost trained in a variety of dance styles, including jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, and more. Do you know he initially wanted to study medicine?

After his dance teacher's advice, Brennan auditioned for the Juilliard School. In March 2012, he auditioned and was accepted on a scholarship. Additionally, Clost was one of two Canadian male dancers to be accepted onto the course.
