He also has a younger sister, Barbara Hasselberg Chevalier, born in 1943. His father, Donald Hasselberg, served as a Mayor of Bloomington in Minnesota for two terms from 1964 to 1967. Sadly, he passed away on April 16, 1996, and is currently buried under the Lakewood Cemetery located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Similarly, Bruce's mother, Phyllis M Hasselberg, was also quite beloved by the people. She had the title 'First Lady of Bloomington,' which was never relinquished. She was also gifted with musical ability, which allowed her to be hired to open up the Southdale Dayton Music department.

Just three months later, he became the vice president of real estate for Space Center (formerly St Paul Terminal Warehouse Corporation). 

Bruce worked there for four years and 11 months. After that, he worked in his own company as the Chief Financial Officer at Hasselberg Corporation till April 1996.

Loni Anderson was born on August 5, 1945, in Saint Paul, Minnesota. Her parents are Maxine Hazel, a model, and Klaydon Carl Anderson, a chemist. She studied at Alexander Ramsey High School and was voted the Valentine Queen of 1963 at her high school.

Loni debuted as an actress in 1966 when she got the role in Nevada Smith. Then for about a decade, she wasn't offered any role until the mid-1970s when she got guest roles in television series. Loni made a breakthrough in her acting career when she starred in WKRP in Cincinnati from 1978 to 1982.
