Caleb Freundlich

Caleb Freundlich is an American graduate student who has been working as a film composer and songwriter. He is well known among the public as the eldest son of actress Julianne Moore (mother) and director Bart Freundlich (father).

Apart from that, Caleb is also known for acting in films such as Trust the Man and Still Alice. His father directed the picture, which also included his mother. Liv Freundlich, his younger sister, is also an actress.

Julianne Moore eldest son, Caleb Freundlich, and his sister Liv Freundlich attended Friends Seminary High Institution in Manhattan, New York, an independent K-12 school. Their mother told The Guardian that she and her husband chose a Quaker school for their children because they believed a lot in the community, social responsibility, and making sure you contribute to others who are less fortunate than you. 

In his guest piece for The Hollywood Reporter, Caleb's father noted that his son had been taking the train to and from school since he was 13 years old. Caleb attended the school from 2004 to 2016 and was a member of the basketball squad. At Friends Seminary, he was a four-year letter winner who captained the team twice and was twice the all-league team.

Caleb was the ninth player in school history to earn 1000 points, and his 33 points in a half set a new school record. He continued to play basketball after high school at Davidson College, a walk-on for the varsity squad. 

In 2017, Caleb spent two months as a Camp Counselor at Bob McKillop's Basketball Camp in Davidson, North Carolina, while still in college.

He played a teenage musician in his mother's award-winning film Still Alice nearly a decade later. He worked as a camera assistant on his father's sports drama film Wolves in 2016.

Caleb is also featured in a handful of episodes of Entertainment Tonight with his sister Liv, who was also in Trust the Man with him. He and his family recently attended the Tribeca Film Festival to see his father's film With/In: Volume 1, for which he also wrote the music.
