Chandler Belfort came to prominence as the daughter of Jordan Belfort. Jordan is an American author, former stockbroker, and motivational speaker. Back in 1999, he pled guilty to crimes involvement with stock-market manipulation. 

On that note, he spends twenty-two months in prison and gave testimony against his fellow partners who were involved in the fraud scheme. Moreover, he published the memoir The Wolf of Wall Street in 2007 which was adapted into a film and got released in 2013.
