Charlene White is a British Journalist and newsreader best known as the longtime employee of ITN, a UK-based TV production company. Since 2019, White has been the lead presenter of ITV News London. From August 12, 2020, she started presenting Loose Women as its anchor.
Charlene is known for appearing in ITV London's evening bulletins. She has also hosted nationwide lunchtime and evening news broadcasts for the channel. In 2014, Charlene became the first-ever black female presenter fronting the famous News at Ten.

Charlene Denise White was born on June 22, 1980, in Greenwich, London, England. She was born to Black Caribbean parents Dorrett Lonie (mother), and Dennis White (father). Charlene grew up with two younger siblings, Joshua and Carina.
White attended Black Heath High School in Southeast London. She later graduated from the London College of Printing. Her parents initially wanted her to become a doctor. However, they encouraged Charlene's pursuit of journalism.
Charlene's mother died due to complications of bowel cancer in 2002. Since then, she has worked to raise awareness of bowel cancer and is now a member of Charity Bowel Cancer UK.
