Chrissy Amphlett, also known as Christine Joy Amphlett, was an Australian singer, songwriter, and actress. She was best known for working as the frontwoman of the Australian rock band Divinyls, formed in Sydney in 1980.

Chrissy Amphlett was born on October 25, 1959, in Geelong, Victoria, Australia. She had not shared her parents' background on social media. She attended Belmont High School.
