Clancy Brown

Clearance John Brown III is an American voice actor and actor, well known for his appearance as Viking Lofgren in Bad Boys. He is also famous as the voice behind Mr. Krabs in Spongebob SquarePants. 

Clarance was born on 5th January 1959, in Urbana, Ohio, United States of America, where another actor Nick Lachey was born. Born to his American parents Joyce Helen and Clarence J. "Bud" Brown Jr., he is of White ethnicity and holds an American nationality. 

Married to Jeanne Johnson

The multi-talented actor is happily living in his married life. In 1993, Clancy exchanged his wedding vows with his long-term wife, Jeanne Johnson. Since then, Clancy and his wife are living happily with no rumors and controversies. 

Clarence shares two children with his partner Jeanne, a daughter named Rose Beth Brown (born on October 1995), and a son James Ransom Johnson-Brown (born in 2003).

Started Career as a Voice Artist

Clancy has a deep voice, a good height, and a large frame, due to which he started working as a voice artist in animated movies and games. During the time, he also featured as authority figures or villains.

Later in 1983, Clarence did his first professional acting in the movie Bad Boys as Viking Lofgren. After three years, he also portrayed in another hit movie Highlander as Kurgan.

Brown is credited his voice in numerous movies, animated series, and cartoons. Clancy credits his voice in the PlayStation game Spyro the Dragon, Jak II, Doctor Neo Cortex and Crash Bandicoot video games.

Not to mention one of the most popular voice credits as Mr. Krabs in the cartoon series SpongeBob SquarePants since 1999. The following year, he credited his voice in various roles as Ratso, Captain Black, and Super Moose in the Chinese animated series Jackie Chan Adventures.

As Brown has done several hit movies and series, he is also known for his credits in Marvel and DC animations. Brown first voiced as Luthor in the DC Universe animated series beginning with Superman: The Animated Series. 

Clarence, moreover, did his voice credit in the Marvel characters such as Sasquatch on The Incredible Hulk, The Spectacular Spider-Man, Wolverine and the X-Men and many more.
