He was returning from his school after being gifted by the school with a bike and the neighbor's car hit his bike. He died due to the accident in front of his house while he was about to reach home.

At that time, he was promoting his newly released song mixtape, Redd Kisses, just hours before he died. It was just a heartbreaking situation for his fans.
