Dianna Cowern is an American YouTuber who gained fame by explaining Physics. In this age of the internet, any person having talent can use YouTube platforms and become phenomenal. She uploads videos of various physical phenomena explaining their cause to her audience. 

Dianna was born on May 4, 1989, as Dianna Leilani Cowern in Kauai, Hawaii, U.S. She graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2011, where she studied Physics. Who is Dianna's Boyfriend?

Dianna, however, has posted pictures on social media in 2017 of her with a rose saying, 

"My boyfriend gave me a used rose for Valentine's Day. One rose. It's still mostly alive. Just like our love."

She also tweeted in 2016 saying her boyfriend had donated to Wikipedia while drunk. Later adding " I think I found a keeper". These Social media posts might suggest that she has a boyfriend but nothing is confirmed as of now.

Were Dianna Cowren and Terry Davis Together?

Terry Davis was an American Programmer who created "TempleOS" a Linux based operating system. It was reported that he was in love with Dianna but the feeling wasn't mutual from her side.

He often got trolled on the internet during his live broadcast by people who posed as Dianna. As per sources, Davis and Cowern were not together. Terry passed away in 2018 after he was struck by the train.

Dianna's net worth is estimated to be at $1 million which is more than another American YouTuber Loey Lane who's fortune is around $400,000. She earns most of her riches through her YouTube channel "Physics Girl" which is funded by PBS

The Physics Girl has 1.49 million subscribers as of early 2020. Her videos get anywhere between 400,000 to 7 million views. As per an article on the sun, You Tubers earn around $1000 and $40,000 for 100,000 and 1 million views respectively. 

Dianna's videos racked up more views than 1 million, so' she might be earning around $40,000 or more. In an interview with Science Mag, she even explained income from YouTube allows her to live a decent lifestyle.

Dianna is also seen traveling to many exotic destinations and post pictures of there. The one above is of her in the Swiss Alps during a ski trip.

Her Self-Made Career

Dianna works as a science communicator on her channel Physics Girl. She was inspired by the likes of Neil deGrasse Tyson and his work as a science communicator. Dianna started her channel in 2011 after her graduation from the University.

She posted her explanation videos since then but it was in 2014 Cowern rose to prominence. In 2014, Cowern won actor Alan Alda's "flame challenge". It is a competition where scientists are asked to answer basic questions about the satisfaction of school children. After her victory, PBS Digital Studio offered to sponsor her YouTube channel.

Apart from science videos she also uploads Skit videos on her channel. Dianna uploads anywhere between 1 to 4 videos a month.

Outside of YouTube

Cowern after her graduation was a research fellow at the Harvard Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics. She also was the outreach coordinator at the University of California at San Diego's Center for Astrophysics and Space Sciences.

The YouTuber always wanted to make science more accessible to girls. When she started making her initial science videos she was still working at General Electric. Cowern is an active figure and discussed science on national media, like U.S News & World Report, and APS News

She also featured in Slate, Scientific American and Huffington Post blogs. Cowern has also hosted the 'Google Science Fair'. She, furthermore, was listed in Forbes 30 under 30 in the education category in 2018. Recently, she is joining other YouTuber's at World Economic Forum 2020 in Mumbai hosted by Bhuvan Bam.
