New York-based actor, Dino Petrera started his acting career from Broadway theatre, where he first performed as a lead in the play, Mirror Mirror at Tunnel Theatre Company. He later acted in the musical play, Hangman as a lead character at 13th Street Repertory.

Petrera made his debut appearance as an intern in the short comedy movie, Working Dead in 2013. He then appeared as Jonas in short comedy-drama film, Hipster Yodel in 2014. His other film credits include BearCity 3, Bully, and Squirrels.

Dino first starred in the comedy series, Broad City as heroin chic boy co-starred with Ilana Glazer in 2014. He, further, guests appeared in Other People's Kids, Tough Lover, and Disposable Teens. He is now going to feature in the upcoming movies such as Caihong City and Brian.

Early Life of Dino Patrera

Never Have I Ever star, Dino was born and raised in 1991 in New York, USA into a modest family along with his three older siblings. From an early age, he has hearing impairment that came from his genes by birth. Moreover, he is ethnicity/race is White with an European descent.

Due to Dino's parents' encouragement, he joined a local Theatre Shakespeare Group when he was only 10 years old. Furthermore, his family expected him to become a doctor or a lawyer. But, he had already developed an interest in the arts of acting.

Petrera joined acting institute, Upright Citizens Brigade to learn comedy improvisations methods from Improv 101. Later, he enrolled at Matt Farnsworth Vocal Studio for vocal technique lessons from Mike Maixner. 

Petrera then studied acting and auditioning technique under the guidance of Risa Bramon Garcia and Josie DiVencenzo at The BGB Studio. Furthermore, he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Theatre Performance from Niagara University. Likewise, Mike Holmes is also an alumni "Purple Eagles".
