E'Dena Hines's relationship with her step-grandfather was allegedly more than relative. According to some media outlets, she had a sexual relationship with Morgan Freeman.

The rumors started in 2012 and were denied by both. E'Dena said,

“These stories about me and my grandfather are not only untrue, they are also hurtful to me and my family.”
