The English actress, Chappell was born on 21 March 1992 in Warwickshire, United Kingdom. Her father runs a creative agency while her mother is a former artist. Further, Ellise has one older brother who works as a video choreographer. So far, she is a British citizen and belongs to the White ethnicity.

On May 21, 2017, Chappell explained in an interview on Daily Mail that her boyfriend Yuan is the one who could make her happy. She also claimed she lived in North London, along with her half-Chinese partner.

The actress also mentioned Yuan was very supportive who always understands her work because he'd constantly be on sets himself. Unfortunately, she seems to have broken up with him already. Since then, there are no further updates of their intimate relationship on the media.
