The pair's love story started in 2008, albeit Krasinski, best recognized for playing Jim Halpert on the NBC sitcom, The Office, had been crushing hard on Blunt ever since he watched her work in The Devil Wears Prada. The then-budding actors crossed paths via a mutual friend at a restaurant in 2008. Less than a year after what they deemed a "casual" engagement, Blunt and Krasinski kicked off their happily ever after journey. The Oscar-nominated actress and her then-groom held their intimate ceremony at George Clooney's estate in Lake Como on July 10, 2010.
Clooney, who is a good friend of John, had apparently offered his estate to the couple for their special day, but it was only after repeated asks that Krasinski and Blunt agreed to commemorate their wedding there. The then-newly married couldn't stop gushing about each other, a love language that has remained the same even after all these years.
"Meeting John really changed my life," Blunt said after two years of marriage. "When I feel the support that I have from him, I feel invincible," Emily added. The duo welcomed their firstborn, Hazel Grace, in February 2014. "Emily and I are so incredibly happy to welcome our daughter Hazel into the world today," The Office alum announced.
The couple's family grew bigger with the birth of their second daughter, Violet, in June 2016. Besides being a fan-favorite couple and doting parents, Blunt and Krasinski also make for efficient colleagues. The two joined forces to star in Krasinski's sci-fi horror directorial, A Quiet Place, in 2017.
Not only was the flick a big blockbuster, but it also amplified the couple's already perfect relationship. "This weird intersection happened while filming where I totally forgot I was her husband," John said of his wife's acting flair. Given the movie's success, the two were further encouraged to make a sequel, A Quiet Place Part II, which premiered in May 2021.

Krasinski also joined in with his wife's teary celebration. "I think he went and put it in the trash and then we both cried," Blunt recalled.
