Jose's second wife is an American ex-waitress and author. They walked down the aisle on August 27, 1996. Together they welcomed a baby girl into their life. They named her Josie Canseco. 

Born on November 5, 1996, Josie grew up to become an American model. Jose was doing fine with his second wife and daughter, but despite having a great life with Jessica, Esther's ex messed up again. 

In November 1997, Esther's former husband was arrested again for domestic violence. The news came out that he physically abused Jessica, and following that incident, they went separate ways. They divorced in 1999.
