Who is Fan Bingbing? 

Fan Bingbing is a prominent Chinese actress, pop singer, television producer, and model with international recognition. She is currently acknowledged as one of the world's highest-paid actress. Bingbing also has appeared in several international movies including the Hollywood movie X-Men: Future Past Days and the French film Stretch.

Fan Bingbing was born on September 16, 1981, in Qingdao, Shandong, China. Her father is Fan Tao, and mother is Zhang Chuanmei. She belongs to the Han Chinese ethnicity and holds Chinese nationality. Her family later relocated to the north-eastern Shandong town of Yantai, where she grew up.

She graduated from Shanghai Xie Jin Film and Television Arts College after finishing high school and continued to study theater from the Shanghai Theater Academy. She was interested in acting from the very young age and at the age of 16 began playing minor roles.

The series that brought Fan Bingbing to the limelight was My Fair Princess. As the series made waves locally and abroad, she became a household name internationally. 

Her first role came to her in 1999 when she was advised to work in the Chinese television series My Fair Princess by the Taiwanese actress Leanne Liu. The serial got favorable reviews, and in the Chinese media, Fan began to draw attention.

She signed a contract with Huayi Brothers by 2000 and appeared in 17 TV shows throughout her time with Huayi. She also appeared in Cell Phone in 2003, a hit movie by Feng Xiaogang. 

Personal Life: Husband

She has been dating Chinese actor Li Chen for a while, and on her 36th birthday, the pair got engaged. Her name was falsely linked with senior leaders of the Communist Party Gau Wengui. Later, she filed a defamation lawsuit against the person. 

Bingbing is not married as for now. But according to some of the source, the couple almost tied a knot to each other and became husband and wife. As they had exchanged ring with each other already. Li and Fan, though, lately announced their separation in June 2019.

On June 27, 2019, her husband Li Chen, 40, announced on Weibo that they were going separately after four years of dating. But many netizens were not buying the news and called it fake news and a ploy to stir up advertise.

After Chinese media reported that the couple had been spotted dining just three days after their announcement of a break-up in a Thai restaurant, their doubts were raised by hundreds of fold. Both of them, however, have not provided the formal declaration of their feasible reconciliation.

Li Chen and Bingbing began their relationship in early 2015. Then on September 16, 2017, at the end of her birthday, Li proposed Bingbing with a ring. They also lived together in the same apartment while they were together.
