Brian Rafat Awadis, better known today as FaZe Rug, is a star among stars on YouTube. Brian leveraged his video game passion and creative pranks to become an empire builder. 

His packed YouTube channel with pranks, vlogs, and video gaming content, most prominently Call of Duty, has won over millions around the globe. Starting off small with a controller and a camera, FaZe Rug brought something new and fun to the internet.

When it comes to romance, FaZe Rug has had his share of news headlines. He briefly dated fellow YouTuber Molly Eskam and then was rumored to be in a relationship with social media influencer Baeeeeelyn. Both relationships were being watched closely by fans on social media.

FaZe Rug was born on November 19, 1996, in San Diego, California. His background is from Iraq, with his family tracing back to proud Chaldean Assyrian parents from Tel Keppe who instilled good family values into his life.

He went to Mira Mesa Senior High, living a pretty typical teen life while having big dreams. He tried college at San Diego Miramar College after high school, but soon realized it wasn't for him. Rug dropped out to focus on YouTube—a bold move that totally paid off. 

Growing up, Brian wasn’t fluent in his heritage language, Suret, but he always embraced his background. His early life may have seemed quiet, but behind the scenes, he was already setting up his playbook for online greatness.
