Freddie Stroma is a British actor and model who is famous for playing Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter film series.

Freddie was born as Frederic Wilhelm C.J. Sjostrom. His father Stefan is a Swedish born computer industry executive and German mother Crystal and grew up in Ascot, England in Berkshire. He graduated from Radley College in Oxfordshire in 2005. 

Stroma has a younger brother, Philipp and older sister Antonia. He had roles on various British TV shows, including Casualty and BBC's detective show, Mayo. He completed his degree from University College London later in 2009, he attained a 2:1 BSc in Neuroscience.
