Died At The Age Of 29

The celebrity son Garrett died on August 5, 2012, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Reid passed away at the age of 29. As per the investigation, Garrett was found dead during Eagles training camp at a Lehigh University dorm room. 

Northampton District attorney, John Morganelli said Reid was found fallen over in a chair on the morning of his death. Investigators also found a used syringe, spoon, and 19 flasks of an unknown liquid substance in his room, along with many unused needles and syringes.

Garrett's reason behind prominence was because of his father Andy Reid. The 63 aged Andy is an American football coach. Reid currently serves as a head coach for the professional football team Kansas City Chiefs.

The 2002 AP NFL Coach Of The Year, Andy previously coached the NFL teams such as Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, Missouri, Northern Arizona, San Francisco State, etc. For the information, American football player Patrick Mahomes plays for the team Kansas City Chiefs.

The coach Andy is in a blissful marital relationship with his long-time wife Tammy Reid. Andy and Tammy tied the wedding knot on August 8, 1981, in front of their closed ones. 

As of now, Mr. and Mrs. Reid are sharing a healthy bond as a perfect married partner. The married pair visits many exotic places, attend public functions together. As of March 2021, Andy and his spouse Tammy are celebrating their 39th marriage anniversary merrily without involving in any controversy regarding the separation.

As mentioned earlier, Garrett was the eldest kid of Andy and Tammy. After him, the married partner shared four adorable kids. Tammy and Andy shared their second child, a son, Britt Reid, on April 28, 1985. 

Similarly, they became parents for the third time in 1992 who shared a daughter, Drew Ann Reid. Their 29 aged daughter, Drew is now happily married to her boyfriend, Devin Woodhouse since February 2013. Additionally, Drew and Devin are parents to their two lovely kids.

Likewise, Tammy and Andy welcomed their fourth child named Spencer Reid. Moreover, their fifth kid's name is Crosby Reid. Like Garrett, Andy's secondborn son Britt also had a problem with drug use. Back in 2007, Britt and Garrett were sentenced to 8 to 23 months in jail for illegal transportation of drugs. 

Concerning Britt's professional work, he is also a football coach who serves as a linebackers coach for Kansas City Chiefs of NFL.

Garrett was pursuing his career in the music industry as a musician. Garrett had released an album named Two More Seconds which includes the songs Two More Seconds and Timeless. 

However, Garrett's exact net worth at the time of his death is unknown. As of early 2021, his father Andy owns a net worth of $30 million with an annual salary of $7.5 million.
