Gilda was born as Gilda Susan Radner on June 28, 1946, in Detroit, Michigan. She is one of the two children born to Herman Radner and his wife, Henrietta Dworkin. She has a brother named Michael. Her father was a well-known Business executive, and her mother was a secretary. She graduated from University Liggett School.

Yes, You read that right, Gilda is no more with us at present. Gilda left this beautiful world on May 20, 1989, at the age of forty-two. Gilda passed away battling with Ovarian Cancer.

She was diagnosed with cancer in October of 1986. Soon after the incident, she started undergoing chemotherapy. However, it could not be controlled and went to coma at the beginning of May. She regained consciousness and took her last breathe after three days on May 20.

Along with her successful life career, Gilda was famous for her relationship. Gilda's relationship started in the late 1970s. She first tied her knot with her first husband, G.E Smith, in 1980. The two had been dating for some time before tying their knots.

Soon after this first heartbreak, Gilda met Gene Wilder. The two had love at first sight and started living together. They formally tied their knot on September 18, 1984, in Saint-Tropez. The two remained together until the death of Radner in 1989.
