Golnesa Gharachedaghi, widely known as GG, is an Iranian-American entrepreneur and a television model. She earned international fame by starring in the American reality TV series Shahs of Sunset.

Moreover, Golnesa is a mother as well as a successful businesswoman who owns and handles multiple businesses. She is the CEO of Wüsah, a medicinal cannabis company.

She was engaged to Shalom Yeroushalmi in December 2016 after meeting him in the apartment complex and dating for a short time. The ex-couple finally decided to tie their knot in January 2017 by organizing a surprise wedding for their fans and family.

However, just after seven weeks of their marriage, in March 2017, GG and Shalom got separated and decided to end their marriage. Golnesa filed for divorce in May 2017, declaring irreconcilable differences. Nearly two years after she filed the divorce, they officially divorced in January 2019.

At this date, the Shahs of Sunset star Golnesa is single and happy to live her life this way. She claims that being independent and single is far happier than being in a relationship.

"Shalom Yeroushalmi was more traditional than I am," GG claimed. She said that she never believed in marriage. The only reason she married Shalom was to make him happy, she also quoted:

"I knew what I did was wrong and it wasn't for me or for my happiness, but for someone else, and I guess for one moment I thought maybe someone else's happiness will do it for me. And it didn't."

The fan favorite of Shahs of Sunset also added that marrying Shalom was her biggest mistake, and she will try hard not to regret that decision. On Watch What Happens Live, she claimed that all Shalom wanted was her money, and he decided to go for it legally.

Despite being single, GG has a son Elijah Javad Gharachedaghi. She frequently posts her son's photos on her social media. The baby boy was born on May 2, 2020.

GG's Struggle Against "RA" & Other Diseases

The co-founder of G.G's Extensions Golnesa has shared about the disease she has been struggling from over thirteen years. She has always been frank with her fans and shares about her fight against Rheumatoid Arthritis.  

Being a patient of an autoimmune disease like RA is not easy, especially when you are pregnant, she told her fans. To cope with the disease, she consumes cannabis. In 2015 she also started chemotherapy to treat Rheumatoid Arthritis. 

In one of The Daily Dish episodes, GG openly spoke about her hearing impairment and how she's adapted by reading lips. She has also told about the adjustments she has made in her life before and after using hearing aids.

I was born with a rare hearing loss and only have 28 [percent] hearing. And as I've gone through life missing out on many amazing sounds.

The Iranian-American entrepreneur Golnesa was born on November 27, 1981, in Los Angeles of, California, USA. She completed her high school graduation from a reputed high school in LA. She was totally into athletics and gymnastics on an Olympic level while she was in high school.

But later on after the completion of her high school, she decided not to continue her career as an athlete. 

Therefore she joined Loyola Marymount University In Los Angeles, California located on the west side of the city, near Playa Vista. She got her degree in Addiction treatment counseling.

Golnesa Has a Total of Eight Tattoos

GG often claims her as a huge tattoo fan, like Ruta Gedmintas. She has over eight tattoos in total on her body which she does not hesitate to show through her social media sites.

Golnesaa: Alcoholism & Drugs Addiction 

Golnesa has been through a dark past full of drugs and other addictions. She revealed that she started doing drugs when she was eleven and a half. She has stated that she was completely addicted to cocaine and weed. 

Moreover, she claimed that the root cause of those addictions was going to parties, gatherings, and clubs with friends at an early age.

At the age of 23, Golnesa realized the negative effects of drugs and their impact on her life. Therefore she decided to admit into a rehabilitation center in 2004. At this time of date, she is free of drug abuse and other addictions. However, she still uses cannabis for medical purposes.

Despite being free from drugs for over 17 years, Golnesa still gets nightmares of going to that dark past again. In an interview with ET about her alcohol abuse at the show in 2015, she said:

"When the alcohol abuse picked up last year, I knew this pattern and I knew what was happening. I recognized it. I said, 'Okay, well if I don't stop it now, this could eventually lead to a few lines of coke, it could lead into a lot of other dangerous things."

GG comes from a wealthy family who shifted to California, USA, from Iran in 1975. She was raised by her mother and father. 

Her father, Mahmoud Gharachedaghi runs a boutique architecture firm whereas her mother works in LA textile and garment industry.
