Gunner Hegseth is the son of mother Samantha Hegseth and father Pete Hegseth. Gunner is also the first child of a famous personality like Kitty Szekely. He was born on June 2010 before his parent's marriage.

Gunner is the eldest of three siblings from the same parents. His siblings are brother Boone Hegseth (born on August 2012) and brother Rex Hegseth (born in 2016). The nine-years-old preadolescent is the son of a TV host, and it comes with some perks. He was noticed while the third-grade basketball performance was the headline of Fox and Friends on social media.

Who is Gunner's Father, Pete Hegseth?

Pete Brian Hegseth, born in June 6, 1980, is a Fox News Channel contributor. He is a ex-Army National Guard officer as well as a former director of the political advocacy group Vets For Freedom and Concerned Veterans for America. 

He was also reflecting to become the head of the United States Department of Veteran Affairs in the Trump administration. Instead of him, the major veterans' group selected David Shulkin in January 2017.

Prior to that, he joined Bear and Sterns as an equity capital markets analyst. He was also commissioned as a reserve infantry officer into the US Army. He was called to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, in 2004, where he served as an infantry platoon leader. He also served in Baghdad and Samarra after returning from Cuba.

He has two step-mother

Gunner's parents met after his father Pete's first divorce with Meredith Schwarz. Pete met Gunner's mother, Samantha, through mutual friends. The couple fell for each other instantly and fell in love gradually. He met her during the time he was finding it difficult to move on from his first marriage.

Pete and Samantha got married in June 2010 at St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington, D.C. The couple was blessed with three children, Gunner, who was born before their marriage and, Boone, and Rex, who were born after their marriage.

Parents are no more together  

Gunner's parents got divorced when he was just seven years old. His father was accused of having an affair with Fox producer, Jennifer Cunningham Rauchet. This forced Gunner's mother to file for divorce on September 2017 in Minnesota.

The allegations was confirmed right, and the couple got divorced. One month after the divorce, Pete's and Jennifer's daughter Gwen Hegseth born. Pete went on to marry Jennifer on August 2019.

Gunner's Family Prosperity

Gunner's dad, Pete's net worth, is estimated at $3 million. He worked as a Fox News Channel military analyst and made multiple television appearances on the Fox News Channel, CNN, and MSNBC from 2007 to 2010. He currently works as a Fox News Channel contributor and co-host of FOX & Friends with Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade, and Jillian Mele.

Pete makes more than $250 thousand per annum as part of Fox News. Pete, along with his family, lives in Forest Lake, Minnesota, where the houses range anywhere between $300,000 to $600,000.

Gunner and his siblings go to Liberty Classical Academy, a private Christian school in White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Gunner's father is taking his kids regularly to different places and enjoys posting pictures with them.

Father's Pete Axe incident

After joining FOX News, Pete was involved in a promotion campaign. During the promotion, he was supposed to throw an axe at a target. But he missed the mark entirely and hit West Point Band drummer Jeff.

Jeff didn't suffer any significant injuries from the axe, but had some minor injuries. It was later told that the band was not aware of the axe throwing event. Jeff refused FOX News' offer to pay for the treatment of injuries but then sued FOX News and Pete as reported by The Washington Times.
