For many of us, the most rational thing to do when a storm rages is to be safe. Except for emergency time, we rarely have any reason to be outdoor. Not everybody has this freedom; however, as it is some people's task to be out in the storm, hunt it, and report its effect. One of those people who do this work is television and radio meteorologist Helen Willetts

Helen was born in Chester, England, the UK on February 10, 1972, as Helen Sarah Willetts. Willetts holds British nationality and belongs to English ethnicity. The family was born in Chester and quickly relocated to Colwyn Bay, North Wales. There are no other details about her parents and siblings.

Helen attended different schools such as Eirias High School, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, North Wales. Later, she graduated from Nottingham University with a first-class in physics. From February to June 1994, she finished a 5-month Forecasting training course at Met Office College.
