Christine Baumgartner neither an actress nor an active member of the entertainment industry, yet her name has familiar ring to it. Baumgartner is a handbag designer, but she is better known as the previous long-time wife of a prominent actor.  

Baumgartner was married to Yellowstone star, Kevin Costner for eighteen years. As the past tense verb makes it clear, Christine and Baumgartner are no longer married; in fact, the pair are one of the latest Hollywood couples to split ways. The estranged couple had an on-off relationship for many years before being deemed a stable couple.

The latest update on the Baumgartner-Costner saga unveils a new romance plot. Turns out, the handbag designer already has a new man in her life. Identified as Josh Connor, who sources alleges was a friend, and neighbor to then- Mr. and Mrs. Costner, Christine reportedly has been dating the guy for months.  

"Josh was initially just a friend," an insider said before adding, "He is a divorced dad and understands what she's been going through." Anyone who followed the high-profile divorce of Christine and Costner would know that this isn't the first time Connor has popped in the picture.  

During the child support hearing in August 2023, after Baumgartner filed for divorce in May, she was accused of illicit affair with Connor at the time, an allegation she vehemently denied. As multiple sources verify the duo's romance, and with Baumgarter's frequent public appearances with Connor, a financier, things are certainly not looking good for Christine, who shares three kids with Kevin.

Baumgartner and Costner were lovers in the spotlight. For decades, the couple navigated a relationship, full of highs and lows, in the face of the media, and when chaos did arise, the two handled with much grace. Baumgartner was Kevin's second wife.   

The double Academy winner was married to his first wife, Cindy Silvia, when he crossed paths with Baumgartner while rehearsing for his 1996 rom-com, Tin Cup. It wasn't until four years later in 1999- after Costner's divorce from Cindy, that the pair reunited once again and ventured into a romantic ride. Baumgartner and the Yellowstone actor didn't have a smooth ride.  

The handbag designer would allegedly leave Costner again and again as the actor couldn't assure her about their possible future together. After years of on-and-off stint, the pair finally tied the knot in September 2004, in Aspen Colorado, and went on to welcomed three kids. In addition, Christine also became a bonus mother to Costner's four kids from his previous relationship. 

The former power couple often gave candid updates on their marriage. In 2020, the two opened up about how the pandemic strengthen their bond. "Our partnership has really come into focus about what we do for each other and how we deal with our family," said the Oscar winner.  

The duo's tale came to an end after eighteen long years in May 2023. Baumgartner filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences", and asked for the joint custody of their three teenage kids. The estranged spouses' divorce took a contentious turn when Costner filed to evict Christine from their marital home, and even asked her to pay his legal fees.

The handbag designer and former model shares three kids, Cayden Wyatt Costner, Hayes Logan Costner, and Grace Avery Costner with her ex-husband, who is also a doting father to four adult kids, Annie, Lily, and Joe, whom he shares with Silvia, and Liam with his ex-girlfriend, Bridget Rooney.  

Baumgartner's three young kids have undoubtedly been in a tough spot amid their parents' not-so-amiable split. Since the onset of what turned out to be a bitter divorce proceeding for the former couple, both Christine and Costner have taken their time to bond with the kids.  

Christine took her young ones for a fun getaway in Hawaii amid the divorce in July after Costner flied them to British Columbia earlier the same month. Baumgartner's child support battle with the Dances with the Wolves actor has been just as contentious. 

Christine had reportedly requested $248,000 per month in child support. She was later awarded $129,000 per month until future court dates. The former spouses have yet to comment on their transpiring relationship, but the two are hopefully on the same page as parents to their brood of three.
