Jakob James Nowell is known for being the only son of Late Bradley Nowell, the former lead singer of Sublime. Jakob's also known for his dynamic performances, his guitar skills, and his vocal abilities. Currently, he serving as a lead vocalist for his Band LAW which was founded in 2013. 

James and his friend, Nicholas Aguilar who is a drummer, are founding members of the band. Bradley, Jakob's father, was a well-known American musician who was the lead singer and guitarist of the ska-punk band Sublime. Unfortunately, the great musician died in 1996 as a result of a drug overdose.
