Jane Hale is an American actress who became active in the film industry throughout the 1960s. She showed promise as a rising star early in her career but became less active later. She is known for appearing in 1966 The Oscar and the 1967 movie, The Valentine's Day Massacre.

Carol Jane Hale was born on December 27, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah, the United States. She was born to parents, Stanton G and Doris Norrell. Hale was raised a Mormon. She attended the University of Utah for one semester and then Skidmore College for Women for three semesters. Jean graduated from Neighbood Playhouse.
