81-years-old, Julie was born as Julie Frances Christie at 10:00 am-LMT on 14th April 1940 in Singlijan Tea Estate, Chabau Assam, British India. She is the daughter of tea planter, Francis St. John Christie and a painter, Rosemary Ramsden, who married on 28th September 1937 in Calcutta, India.

Julie has two step siblings, including one brother, Clive Christie and one sister, June Christie from her father's extra-marital affair with an Indian lady, who used to work as a tea picker at his tea plantation. However, her parents divorced due to her dad's infidelity.
