The husband of Kamala is none other than Douglas Emhoff. Harris first encountered Emhoff for the first time on a blind date set by one of her close friends. The two quickly hit it off, and about a year later Douglas proposed Harris with a diamond and platinum ring in her apartment. Then, on April 2014, the couple got engaged.
