Ramkissoon was born in 1984 in Miami, United States of America to Shew Ramkissoon as the father and Patricia  Ramkissoon as the mother. 

Her father Shew is a famous Indian classical vocalist whereas her mother Patricia is a housewife. Furthermore, she grew up with her older sister Kabita Ramkissoon, who has also made a name in classical singing. 

Anjali is of mixed Indian and American ancestry, and she holds American nationality. Through both of her parent's lines, she has American and Native American ancestry in her family tree. Regarding religion, she is a Christian who follows Jesus Christ's teachings. 

Education Qualification  

Ramkissoon is a well-educated person. For primary education, she went to North Miami Beach High School located at 1247 NE 167 Street in North Miami Beach, Florida, United States.  

After completing primary education Ramkissoon attended the University of Miami, which is a private research university located in Coral Gables, Florida, and chose medicine as her primary field of study there. 

After earning her MBBS degree from a medical school in Miami, the lady went on to work at Jackson Health as an intern doctor.

She started her career as a Doctor at Jackon Health and Primary Teaching Hospital soon after finishing her higher medical education. The lady has established herself as a specialist in sleep medicine and headaches. 

As an MD, she is mainly interested in epilepsy research, and her work has been recognized by medical specialists all throughout Florida. She is also a family medicine expert and a Doctor of Medicine MD located in North Miami.

Controversy 

As a doctor, you have to deal with a lot of problems and don't get enough sleep, which creates a dark circle on the eye. A similar case might have happened in Anjali's controversial video. It was just a normal day in her life as doctor Anjali was waiting for an Uber to take her home after a party with her colleagues. 

As the time passed, she became tired of waiting, so she got into an Uber without making a reservation. Anjali got into an argument with the Uber driver when he told her to get out of the car. The video of the argument quickly went viral. As she was drunk, she acted more aggressively. Soon Anjali moved away from the cab but came back again to bother the driver again.

In the video, you can see the doctor punching and kicking the Uber driver and throwing random things at him. After doing more research, it turned out that the driver was on his way to pick up a man named Juan Pico. On the other hand, it turned out that he was the main person filming the video of Anjali.

Later, the Uber driver put out a statement saying,

Uber expects everyone who uses the platform, both drivers and riders, to treat each other with respect and common courtesy. Any kind of anger or abuse is not allowed. Accordingly, we have suspended the rider account of this individual as we investigate the incident.

Police arrest and Appolisis 

Soon after the police came to the scene, Anjali moved away from the Uber. But due to her drunken state, she tried to kick the police as they tried to handcuff her. 

As soon as she was inside the police car, she realized her mistake and started crying and apologizing. Ramkissoon also stated 

I will loose my job and medical licence if i will be arrested by police.

However, Anjali was lucky that the Uber driver did not file any more charges against her. After some time passed, she realized her mistake and publicly apologized. She even apologized again on Good Morning America. 

Relationship Status 

Anjali Ramkissoon is currently single at the movement. She is neither dating anyone nor married to anyone. However, before the Uber incident, she used to date radiologist Sean O'Neil. 

The couple met each other in 2013, and after knowing each other for some time, they decided to go into a relationship. The couple was happily living with each other until 2016. Due to some problems in their relationship, the couple decided to part way.

Dr. Ramkissoon later admitted that they had ended their two-year romance. In addition, some sources claim that Sean ended his relationship with Anjali when her video went viral on the internet.
