Katinka's Father Tied The Knot Twice And Shared Seven Children

Katinka Naess's father was married to Filippa Kumlin D'Orey, a Swedish designer. The two walked down the aisle in 1966, at the "Solstua" venue in Oslo, Norway. Most of their friends and relatives attended their nuptials.

The marriage between the pair didn't last for long and decided to get separated after living together for sixteen years in 1982. In mid-1982, their divorce was finalized. 

The duo further shared three adorable children, Katinka, Leona Naess, a folk/pop singer, and Christoffer Naess, a documentary producer.

Three years later, Naess' father met an American singer, Diana Ross while on a trip to the Bahamas in 1985. Later, they united as life partners in 1966. Eventually, they separated, citing irreconcilable differences in 2000. 

The former couple welcomed two lovely sons, Ross Arne Naess(born on 7th October 1987) and Evan Olav Naess (born on 26th August 1988), an American actor and musician from their marriage.

Along with two failed marriages, he also had a failed relationship with his Nigerian girlfriend, Camilla Astrup. The former love birds shared two children, Nicklas Naess (born in 2000) and Louis Naess (born in 2003).

Naess' Father's Net Worth - $600 Million

Katinka Naess' dad had an impressive fortune of $600 Million before his demise. He also collected a bundle of earnings of $50 Million from his prolific work as a successful businessman.

Other than that, Naess' brother purchased a house in Los Angeles, California. The price of his house is $1,4 Million, which consists of two bedrooms and two bathrooms on 1,686 square feet.

The house was built in 1956 and features furnished ceilings, a vast plain of walls for art display, and glass doors that open to terrace space. It also features a living area containing family, living, and dining rooms, and a breakfast buffet.

Mountaineering Adventure Of Arne

Katinka Naess' father had already climbed the twenty-first ascents of Norwegian mountains when he was only ninety years old. Later, he focused on a career in the shipping industry, beginning with his uncle, Erling Dekke Naess, who was a late shipowner and businessman in New York in 1964.

When Naess' father turned out in the seventies, he returned to mountain climbing and led the first Norwegian journey to Mount Everest in 1985. In the same expedition, a British mountaineer, Chris Bonington also joined him. In an interview with Arnie in the late 1990s, he said that if he didn't date to climb the mountains, he would have to play tennis or golf.
