Leona Naess is a British singer and songwriter. She is well recognized known for her debut album titled Comatose. The album produced the hit single, Charm Attack, which was well praised by everyone. 

Naess was born as Leona Kristina Naess on 31st July 1974, in New York, the U.S.A, where another American singer Carnie Wilson was also born. Born to her British parents Filippa Kumlin D'Orey and Arne Naess Jr., she is of White ethnicity and holds British nationality. Her parents separated when she was only seven years old. 

Talking about her parents, Naess' father is a business tycoon, and mountaineer and mother serve as an interior designer. Leona grew up with her older brother Christoffer Naess, and a sister named Katinka Naess.

Regarding her education, Leona joined a primary school located in London's Chelsea. Later she enrolled in Purcell School based in Hertfordshire, where she learned music composition. 

After graduating from her school, Naess attended New York University and studied music and received her graduation in music and anthropology.

Leona kicked off her musical career when she performed with guitar at open mics. Soon began performing regularly in clubs, coffeehouses like The Bitter End. Moreover, Leona is also famous as an actress and Television star. She made her appearance on The Next Big Thing, in 1993. The show was aired via Channel 4.

In March 2000, Leona released her debut album titled Comatose. The collection also had a single named Charm Attack which peaked at number 29 at Adult Top 40.

Additionally, she also toured with other famous artists including, Travis, Eagle-Eye Cherry, David Gray, Hem, Ryan Adams, Emm Gryner, Badly Drawn Boy, Josh Rouse, and Ben Lee.

Naess was first engaged to Ryan Adams. The couple dated for several years and decided to get engaged. Ryan is a well-known singer. However, there is no exact date of when they began a romantic love relationship and engaged. 

After some time for their engagement, it was announced that Leona and Ryan ended their meeting. None of them has revealed the reasons behind their separation. 

Besides, Ryan Adams has encountered several women; some of them are Amanda Leigh Moore and Emily Rebecca Kinney.

After the separation with her ex-fiance, Naess remained low profile for many years. No one knew whether she was married or single. 

Surprisingly in 2010, Naess wrote on her blog revealing that she is pregnant. Later, on 4th June 2010, her new baby boy was born. At first, she did not mention the name of her husband, but then it was disclosed that Leona was living a married life with John Miller.

John is an American aeronautical engineer, model, and Bonnie Trompeter. In 2011, Leona and her partner welcomed their second child. Naess is a sister-in-law of American actress, Christa Miller.
