Kendra Robinson has been trending in the news for her wedding to Jasiel Robinson, better known by his stage name Yung Joc. The romantic couple's wedding ceremony was held on November 7, 2021, in Atlanta. A Christian pastor officiated the wedding.

Kendra had eleven bridesmaids dressed in black, and her three flower girls, possibly her nieces, were dressed in cream along with her maid of honor for the ceremony. She herself wore a stunning sweetheart neckline with a body-hugging bodice and perfectly crafted tulle below the knees.

Yung Joc was dressed in a black tuxedo, white shirt, and black bowtie. His groomsmen and best man wore grey printed suits with black collars, waistcoats, and bowties with the same print.

The Wedding Was Interrupted At The Main Moment By Drip

One of the memorable moments of the Kendra Robinson and Jasiel Robinson wedding was when the pastor asked if anyone objected. Joc's friend Drip, known as Kountry Wayne, stood there and interrupted. The whole process was very bizarre and shocking.

Drip then walked to the altar and even took the mic from the pastor and started talking about his boy Joc. The interruption was comedic as it turns out, Drip was actually filming a skit with Yung Joc's permission. It is unknown if Kendra was in on it, but she did not say anything to interrupt the boys.

Yung Joc was born on September 20, 1980 as Jasiel  Amon Robinson. He is about eight years older than his current wife, Kendra. He became famous for his 2006 hit single "It's Goin' Down" and has appeared in T-Pain's US number-one single "Buy U a Drank."

Joc has been consistently releasing music and has albums Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood and Hustlenomics throughout his career and appearing in multiple music videos. In 2014, he started a reality TV career, with his debut in Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta as the then-boyfriend of Karlie Redd.

Yung Joc has been in numerous relationships and has about eight known children from multiple baby mamas. He was once married to Alexandria Robinson in 2000. She was his high school sweetheart.

Later, Kendra chose law as her passion and got a Doctor of Law (J.D.) in Law in 2013 from an HBCU, the University of Louisville in Brandeis School of Law, specializing in criminal Law and real estate law. In Louisville, she was a Sports and Entertainment Law Society member and a part of the Atlanta Bar Association. 

Kendra was active in Law Clinics and even became the Vice President of the Black Law Student Association. She has a law license issued from the  Supreme Court of Georgia in 2013 and a Real Estate License from the Georgia Real Estate Commission. She works for her law firm and supports black women in power.

Early Life And Parents Details 

Kendra Robinson grew up in the small community of Clinton, South Carolina, just like Pauletta Washington. It was an industrial place with two textile mills and a peaceful factory town. Everybody knew everybody, and the parents worked in the mills. Her folks may also have been mill workers.

The future lawyer Kendra thrived working there and, despite her humble roots, gained inspiration to do more for her community. Her parents, James Collins Robinson and Phyllis Robinson, were typical churchgoers and supportive parents to their two children. Sadly, her dad passed away in 2018. 

Vasectomy Drama

Kendra Robinson and Yung Joc went viral during their engagement days when Kendra asked her fiance to get a vasectomy. She even went as far as booking an appointment for him. Young Joc has eight known children. Kendra, on the other hand, does not want to have any kids.

Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Kendra wanted to minimize her risk of pregnancy, and because Yung Joc already had so many kids, she asked him to get a vasectomy before they tied the knot. Although he initially agreed to do so, after meeting the doctor and discussing the procedure got cold feet.

Kendra considered getting surgery herself, but for women, it was even more invasive surgery. She did suggest storing their genetic material if they changed their minds about having children and asked him to get the snip. It is unknown if the procedure happened later, as the pair recently tied the knot in 2022.

The vasectomy decision split the fans, many of whom understood Kendra's point of view, but many of the fans were on Yung Joc's side. This issue was quite viral in the fandom. Kenra has stated that she is open to having options and loves Joc's children very much.

A Brief About Kendra Brother

Kendra has one sibling, a brother named Michael Robinson. He is a man of the cloth and is a church pastor. As the family takes faith seriously, they are all vocal about following His Will. He is happily married to Erin Robinson, who is also a pastor.

Kendra's brother, Michael, is the Founding Pastor at Total Grace Church and works at Not Your Ordinary Vegan, a vegan and gluten-free meal prep service in Lexington, Kentucky. He lives with his wife and children and is an active community member in the area. 

Michael is active as a motivational speaker professionally. He has even written two books, Black Conscious Christianity: An Afrocentric View of Christianity and My Father's Blood which were well received by audiences. They are works of theology which s his major subject. 

Kendra Is Stepmother To Eight kids

Kendra's rapper husband, Young Joc, has eight known children. Joc may have more kids hidden from the media. Kendra, on the other hand, does not want to have any kids, but she is active in the kids' lives and has a great bond with the family.

Her 'bonus children,' as Kendra calls them, are Amoni, Ja'Kori, Amir, Chase, Cadence, Camora, Eden, and Alon Robinson. The real estate lawyer, Kendra, was in many scandals during her relationship with Yung Joc and her marriage. During the show timeline, Kendra was introduced after Yung Joc had an on-off relationship with Karlie Redd. There were allegations that Joc had played around with other ladies and was unfaithful. Kendra and Karlie eventually reconciled and put apart their issues.

During the show, Kendra Robinson was even more involved when it was revealed that Yung Joc had fathered another child with a lady and had another affair with a woman named Meda during their relationship. While the new baby was fathered by Joc when they were on a break, the pair had to get counseling from their pastor due to Joc's dishonesty about his relationship with Meda.

Yung Joc's spouse Kendra decided very early in to help her community and decided to study law. She focuses on criminal justice and real estate, but she took "the long way" and did some small jobs. She started as a bank teller at the Fifth Third Bank in Kentucky. At the same time, she worked in the University of Louisville's Law Clinic as a student attorney and took law classes.

After moving to Atlanta, Georgia, Kendra started working as a contract attorney for seven months at Crail A. Lewis & Associates, LLC. At the same time, worked as a bank teller at SunTrust Bank. After a brief stint as an attorney and law clerk in The Cuffie Law Firm, she moved to the Jonesboro firm Lister & Holt and worked for over a year from 2014 to 2015.

After gaining ample courtroom and trial experience, Kendra eventually started her firm, Kendra Robinson and Associates, in 2015, where she works in criminal defense and real estate closings. She later joined the Taylor Lee & Associates team in 2016 and works as a criminal defense attorney, similar to lawyer Kathleen Biden.

Real Estate Career

Kendra gained her real estate license in 2016 and worked part-time as a realtor in JMaxx Properties. She has clearly stated that she wants to increase homeownership and help build generational wealth for African American families.

Now Kendra works in the Sanders, Robinson, and Scott, Title & Associates, a black-owned legal firm that does real estate closings. She is also a founding member and name partner of the firm that focuses on commercial transactions.

Other Projects

Yung Joc's wife Kendra has her fitness line called Hour Glass Body which has its own Instagram page @shophourglassbody. The line showcases black models of different body shapes trying to get fit.
