Cowan and his now spouse encountered one another for the very first time back in 2008. Soon after their first meeting, the couple started dating, and almost four years later, the pair decided to take their relationship one step further.

As of now, Cowan's two kids are five and two years, respectively. The busy parents are seen taking well care of their two sons. Both husband and wife are often seen uploading pictures of their sons on their respective social media account. In 1988, a Utah native graduated from the University of Washington with a double major in communications and speech communications.After graduation, he entered into  journalism field and is active ever since.
