Marc Evans started his career from the television series, East of the Moon, where he gave directions to Neil InnesGwerfyl Roberts, and Grey Evans, among others in 1988. He then directed eleven episodes of a fantasy horror family series, The Gift, in 1990.

Evans also worked as a director and producer for a television drama series, Friday on My Mind in 1992. Later, he directed a mystery crime drama series, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, in 1994. His other television works are Collision, Safe House, etc.

Marc got his big break from his first directed film, Arthur's Departure, in 1994. He later received a BAFTA Cymru Award for Best Director for his work in the movie, House of America in 1997. Similarly, he also directed many films, including Resurrection Man, Patagonia, and many more.
