Marlo Thomas

Marlo Thomas is one of the popular American actresses, producers, and authors well-recognized because of her role in a sitcom called That Girl. She was born on November 21st, 1937, in Detroit, Michigan, and has won three awards associated with the Primetime Emmys. 

She is also involved with children's health and the rights of women, working as the National Outreach Director for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Margaret Julia "Marlo" Thomas was born in Detroit, Michigan, on November 21, 1937. She grew up surrounded by comedy as the daughter of comedian Danny Thomas, her sister Terre, and a brother, Tony, with close ties to the industry. 

Marlo moved to Beverly Hills and graduated from the University of Southern California with a teaching degree but never pursued that line of work.
