Australian actress, Miranda Otto came to prominence in the early 2000s for her appearance as Eowyn in the film series of three epic fantasy adventure movies The Lord of the Rings. Otto, who began her acting career at the age of 18, made her big film debut in Emma's War,  in which she starred as Emma Grange in 1988.
