Ntare Mwine is a Ugandan-American actor who is well-known among the public for his role in the 2022 Netflix crime, drama and mystery TV series The Lincoln Lawyer, where he portrayed the role of Detective Raymond Griggs.

In 2003, Random Acts of Flyness actor Ntare launched an HIV/AIDS advocacy program in Uganda.

The program was started under See the tree in the seed title by Ntare. This program was funded by the USAID and the CDC's AIDS Integrated Model District Program (AIM).

The program aimed to attract local artists to HIV/AIDS advocacy work using theatre as the mode of discourse. Shortly after, many people got involved in this program, and the program got expanded to various cities in Uganda.

Ntare Mwine started his acting journey with a role in the National Tour of Six degrees of Separation. Following it, he appeared in several other TV series and stage performances.

In 1995, he got his first role in the crime drama TV series New York Undercover in which he appeared in one episode as Mitnick. 

A fun fact is that he appeared in one of the longest American law enforcement TV series, Law & Order.

After that, he appeared in many TV movies, films and TV series. Some of his notable movies and TV series include Farewell Amor, Random Acts of Flyness, Lethal Weapon and Boost.
