Patricia Dimango was appointed to the Criminal Court of the City of New York by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in 1995. She worked as a teacher at NYC Public Schools before her assignment. She was also the Acting Justice of the State Supreme Court for the 2nd Judicial District in 1998. 

DiMango was eventually elected as a justice of the Kings Country Supreme Court after retiring for two years in March 2014. She has presided over several high-profile cases. Murders and other crimes against minors, as well as hate crimes, are among the issues.

Apart from that, Patricia was named "Woman of the Year" by the New York State Supreme Court Officers Association in 2013. In 2015, she served as Grand Marshal of the Brooklyn Columbus Day Parade.
