Pete Hegseth

Former Army National Guard Officer Pete Hegseth, as well as Peter Brian Hegseth, now serves as an American Fox News Channel contributor. He is also known as the ex-executive director of Vets for Freedom.

Hegseth was born on 6th June 1980 in Forest Lake, Minnesota, United States of America. Born to his American parents, Pete is of White ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

Concerning education, Pete graduated from Forest Lake Area High School, Forest Lake, Minnesota. Later, he attended Princeton University where he received Bachelor's degree. Hegseth earned a Master of Public Policy from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Starting from the beginning, Hegseth first tied the knot with Meredith Schwarz (first wife), in 2004. Not much is known about the past life of Pete with Meredith, as the couple officially divorced in 2009, leaving no reason behind. 

Second Spouse, Samantha Hegseth

Soon after the split with Meredith, Pete exchanged the wedding vows with his second partner Samantha Hegseth in 2010.

Hegseth and Samantha were together for seven years from 2010 to 2017. From the marital relationship, Samantha and Pete also shared three children, Boone Hegseth, Rex Hegseth, and Gunner Hegseth (born on 13th June 2010). 

Third Spouse: Jennifer Cunningham Rauchet

When Pete was married to Samantha, he was having a secret affair with the Fox executive producer Jennifer Rauchet in 2017, which led to the split between Pete and Samantha. 

Surprisingly, Pete and Jennifer had a daughter named Gwen Hegseth (born in August 2017), while Pete was with his second wife. Although the divorce was finalized in 2017, Hegseth and Jennifer married in 2019 following the engagement on 16th June.

Soon after his graduating via Princeton in 2003, the American officer joined Bear Stearns as a capital markets analyst. Meanwhile, he was also offered to serve as a reserve infantry officer at U.S. Army National Guard.

The following year, Pete and his unit were called to Guantanamo Bay to work as an infantry platoon leader and were awarded the Army Commendation Medal. When he was in Iraq, Pete received a Combat Infantryman Badge and Bronze Star Medal.

In 2014, the former American officer began working as a contributor at Fox News. The following on 14th June, Pete threw an Axe which hit and injured a crew member of the West Point Band drummer, which was an accident. 

Hegseth was very impressive in his work, which led him to interview the President of the U.S. Donald Trump, despite receiving massive criticism for letting Trump make false statements without challenging him.
