After enough talking on the phone, Peter came to New Orleans for a weekend and a date with his future wife. Less than a year of their meeting, Peter proposed to Perino outside the Washington Cathedral.

Once the British businessman revealed that he felt discouraged after knowing Dana was 18 years younger than him. Nevertheless, they have been living happily ever since their marriage. Perino says her longtime husband has always been supportive and understanding. Despite their big age difference, they haven't been involved in any controversies and rumors.
