You've probably heard the song Fight Song, released in 2015. If so, you may know the name, Rachel Platten, who sings and composes this song. The American singer and songwriter, Platten has released many albums, including Be Here, Wildfire, Waves, and Shivers.

The American singer, Platten was born on 20 May 1981 to Paul and Pamela Platten in New York City. She is of mixed ethnicity and holds American citizenship. She attended Mason-Rice Elementary School, Buckingham Browne and Nichols high school, and Trinity College.
