Rana Foroohar is an Ameican associate editor for the Financial Times. Likewise, Foroohar is also a business columnist. She is also well known as the global analyst for CNN. 

Early Life Of Rana Foroohar

Foroohar was born in 1970 in Indianapolis, United States of America, where another author Julie Powell was also born. Her parents, Turkish father Aygen Erol Dogar and mother Ann Dogar were the immigrants from England Sweden. She is of Caucasian ethnicity and holds American nationality. 

Rana's father is an engineer. He had manufacturing business in the Midwest. Besides, her mother Ann served as a teacher. In 1992, Foroohar graduated with a B.A. in English literature via Barnard College, Columbia University. 

After the graduation, Rana served as foreign and economic affairs editor. Meanwhile, she also worked as a correspondent covering the Middle East and Europe. 

Her recent work includes in the Financial Times, where she is an associate editor and columnist since March 2017.

Moreover, the couple does not share any child. Unfortunately, Rana and Kambiz separated after a few years of their togetherness.

Soon after her divorce with her first spouse, Rana tied the knot with John Sedgwick (current partner), in 2013.
